Beyond the initial installation, regularly checking the fixings is crucial. Over time, vibrations from wind or movement can loosen screws or damage wall plugs. Periodically tighten any loose fixings with a small screwdriver – don't over-tighten, as this could strip the screw holes. Also, inspect the curtain rings themselves for signs of stress or wear; replace them promptly if you notice any cracks or damage.

Finally, consider potential issues before purchasing. Many curtain ring kits include different sized screws and fixings. Ensure the kit includes a range appropriate for your wall type – plasterboard, brick, or stone.
