A higher CADR clears air faster and generally suits a larger room, so manufacturers typically pair a stated CADR figure with a maximum recommended room size.

What Does Litres Per Day Mean for Dehumidifiers?

Litres per day is the manufacturer's rated maximum moisture extraction under specific lab test conditions (usually a set temperature and humidity), used as the standard way to compare dehumidifier capacity. Real-world extraction is typically lower than the rated figure and varies with room temperature and how humid the air actually is, so it's best treated as a comparison figure between models rather than an exact daily guarantee.
