What Does UV-Stabilised Mean for Artificial Plants?

UV-stabilised artificial plants are made with additives in the plastic that resist fading and becoming brittle under prolonged sunlight exposure, unlike standard indoor-grade artificial foliage. This makes UV-stabilised products the more suitable choice for anything positioned outdoors or in a bright conservatory, where non-stabilised greenery can visibly discolour within a single UK summer.

PE or PVC — What Is the Difference in Artificial Christmas Trees?

PE (polyethylene) tips are individually moulded from real branch casts, giving a more realistic, varied needle look, and are often mixed with PVC for fullness at a lower cost. PVC (thin, die-cut plastic strips) is cheaper and gives a denser, bushier appearance but looks less naturally varied up close — many mid-range and premium trees blend both materials to balance realism against price.
