How Do Ultrasonic Pest Repellers Work?
Ultrasonic pest repellers emit high-frequency sound, above the range of human hearing, that some rodents and insects find disruptive or uncomfortable, aiming to discourage them from an area rather than killing them outright. Effectiveness varies by pest type, room layout and obstacles blocking the sound, and results are generally considered less reliable and consistent than trap- or bait-based pest control methods.
Humane or Traditional — What Is the Difference in Rodent Traps?
Humane (catch-and-release) traps capture rodents alive in a container for release elsewhere, avoiding a kill but requiring the trap to be checked frequently so the animal isn't left trapped for long. Traditional snap or kill traps act immediately but need careful placement away from children and pets, and — like any method — checking and clearing regularly is part of using them responsibly and effectively.
