What Is Euro Cylinder Star Rating?

Euro cylinder star ratings (1, 2 or 3 star, often shown as TS007 or Kitemark-approved) measure a door lock cylinder's resistance to snapping, picking and drilling — the main ways burglars defeat uPVC door locks. A 1-star cylinder paired with 2-star door furniture (or a 3-star cylinder alone) meets the standard UK insurers typically look for, so checking the star rating matters more than price alone when choosing a replacement.
