Finally, regarding ‘fragrance oils’ and ‘fixatives,’ these are ingredients used by manufacturers to help stabilize the scent and prolong its lifespan. 'Fixatives' are particularly important; they bind the fragrance notes together and prevent them from evaporating too quickly. Most room sprays contain a blend of fixatives, but you don’t need to know exactly which ones are included. The key is that these ingredients work behind the scenes to create a more consistent and enduring fragrance experience – something that's mostly irrelevant for your first purchase.
