Question 1 of 3

How big is your garden?

Frequently asked questions

Why does hose length matter?

A hose that’s too short leaves parts of the garden out of reach, while one that’s much longer than you need is heavier, slower to reel in, and more prone to kinking. Matching length to the actual distance from your tap to the furthest point you water keeps things easy to handle.

Is a more expensive hose always better?

Not necessarily. Budget hoses are fine for light, occasional use in a small garden, but if you’re watering daily, leaving the hose out over winter, or covering a large plot, a mid-range or premium hose with reinforced or rubber construction will typically last far longer and resist kinking better.
